The 26th Annual Elizabethtown Fair Chicken BBQ will be held Saturday, May 12, 2012 on the Elizabethtown Fairgrounds.

The Chicken BBQ will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased for 1/2 chicken at $4.00 or dinners at $7.00. Dinner will include 1/2 BBQ chicken, potato chips, applesauce, roll, dessert and a drink. There will be a drive-through pick-up on the Fairgrounds. Advance BBQ tickets are now available from Elizabethtown Fair members and friends, or by calling 367-3344. Tickets may also be purchased at Brandt’s Farm Supply, Darrenkamp’s Market @ Elizabethtown, and Groff’s Meats.

The chicken for the barbecue is being donated to the Elizabethtown Fair by Wenger’s Feed Mill, Inc., Herrs is donating potato chips, Pepperidge Farms is donating discounted rolls, Swiss Premium Dairy is donating discounted drinks,  Mars Chocolate NA the desserts, and Land ‘O Lakes butter.
